Looking for a warm hike in spring we headed to central WA, destination Douglas Creek. We had this stunning canyon hike to ourselves, not counting the snakes, marmots and birds.

A short and sweet walk up a steep hillside to the natural arch, Arco de las Peñitas in the central region of Fuerteventura.

BARRANCO DE LOS ENCANTADOS
The Barranco de Los Encantados trail, though initially uninspiring, leads to a stunning canyon with unique formations and scenic views, rewarding hikers who navigate its unmarked paths.

VOLCANES DE BAYUYO
The Volcanes de Bayuyo trail near Corralejo, Fuerteventura, features a 2.29 mile loop with a 512 feet elevation gain. The steep ascent offers stunning volcanic views, and various trail routes are available for exploration.

The Montaña Roja hike in the Canary Islands covers 2.95 miles round trip with decent elevation gain. The trail offers beautiful views and a diverse landscape, although it may be slippery.

COIN TO MIJAS PUEBLO
The hike in Southern Spain featured an 18-mile trek from Coin to Mijas, offering scenic views despite a hazy day. Highlights included a charming bakery in Coin and an old marble quarry, but the trail was disappointing overall.
